    I think interest rates will rise sharply this year, primarily because investors worldwide will get skittish about buying bonds issued in the US. If the natural buyers of corporate and government bonds revolt then interest rates will be forced to rise to attract buyers. When bond yields rise, prices drop. (New York Post -- Business)
