Many Cambridge taxi drivers have taken issue with one of the city s newest proposals that would require all taxis to accept credit cards. The biggest issue the drivers have with this proposal, the most controversial of the five changes addressed in the License Commission s Taxi Subcommittee meeting last week, is that by making credit card acceptance mandatory, an important business decision is taken out of the companies hands.
